WHO WE ARE
JUMIIS is a registered Community-Based Organization operating in Western Kenya, specifically in Bondo Constituency, Nyamonye Sublocation, Siaya County.
We are a community-driven organization committed to delivering sustainable, high-impact solutions that improve the lives of vulnerable populations—particularly less fortunate children and children living with disabilities.
Our work is rooted in inclusive development, with a strong focus on ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or ability, has access to care, protection, education, and opportunity.
We design and implement targeted interventions that address the structural barriers affecting vulnerable children, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.
In addition, JUMIIS runs a Household Economic Strengthening (HES) model aimed at empowering teenage mothers and young women in informal and underserved areas within Nyamonye.
Through this approach, we equip beneficiaries with practical skills, financial literacy, and income-generating opportunities that enhance household resilience, reduce dependency, and promote long-term economic stability.
Our integrated programming combines child protection, disability inclusion, and economic empowerment to tackle the root causes of poverty at the household and community level.
By strengthening families and supporting vulnerable groups, we contribute to building more resilient, inclusive, and self-sustaining communities.
